Purpose
Installs the Intel® Management Engine (Intel® ME) components for Intel® NUC Kit NUC5i3RYH, NUC5i3RYHS, NUC5i3RYK, NUC5i5RYH, NUC5i5RYHS, NUC5i5RYK, NUC5i7RYH, and NUC5i3MYHE and Intel® NUC Board NUC5i3MYBE.
Intel ME installer detects the Intel NUC’s capabilities and installs the relevant drivers.
Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) driver version 11.0.0.1168 WHQL - The new package of Intel MEI driver that supports motherboards with chipsets H97, B75, Z97, H77, Z77, H87, Z87, H81, Z170, B150, H170. The driver is designed for operating systems Windows 10, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 - 32 / 64 bit.

Notes
- Kernel-Mode Driver Framework 1.11 (KB 2685811) must first be installed if you are using Windows 7*.
- If the Intel ME driver hasn't been successfully installed, you may see an error on a PCI Simple Communications Controller in Device Manager.

If the equipment manufacturer doesn't enable Intel-recommended Flash Descriptor write protections, an attacker needs Operating kernel access (logical access, Operating System Ring 0). The attacker needs this access to exploit the identified vulnerabilities by applying a malicious firmware image to the platform through a malicious platform driver.
The vulnerability identified in CVE-2017-5712 is exploitable remotely over the network in conjunction with a valid administrative Intel® Management Engine credential. The vulnerability is not exploitable if a valid administrative credential is unavailable.
